1. What we currently use
The public website loads the Reddit Pixel to measure visits and successful waitlist submissions and attribute them to advertising. Fonts are served from our own website.
Reddit may receive browser and device identifiers, IP address, page URL, referrer and event information and use advertising cookies. We do not add your name or email to pixel events or enable automatic form-field matching in our installation. See Reddit’s privacy policy for its processing, storage and transfers.
2. Inventory and duration
| Item | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|
adventure-recast-languageFirst-party local storage | Remember the language selected on the website and in the studio. Saved when you change it. | Until you select “Automatic” on the website or clear site data. |
sb-…-auth-token and auxiliary authentication keysSupabase, within the studio | Maintain and refresh the session you request. Necessary for authenticated access. | Until sign-out, session invalidation or clearing browser data; credentials have their own expiry times. |
| Technical infrastructure cookies or checks | When needed for provider security, abuse protection or service delivery. | According to the session or provider’s technical mechanism. |
Server logs and abuse counters are not cookies; they are explained in the privacy policy. Stripe applies its technologies on its payment page when you visit it.
3. Browser controls
You can block third-party tracking and delete cookies or storage through your browser settings. Reddit controls the lifetime of its advertising identifiers; see its linked policy. Our session storage marker adventure-recast-reddit-signup-v1 prevents repeated signup events in the same browser tab and lasts for the tab’s session. The pixel is restricted to the public production domain and is not installed in the authenticated studio.
