What is it about?
The Black Flag Reference Document collects the engine’s foundational rules, while Tales of the Valiant presents them as a fantasy adventure game. It retains a structure familiar to 5e players and adds its own options. Shared rules should not be confused with the identities of particular worlds, books, or brands.
02
At the table
Create adventurers and face exploration, encounters, and fantasy challenges using classes, abilities, and rolls. Luck and Talents add choices within the rules version being used.
