What is it about?
Castles & Crusades uses SIEGE as its core resolution engine. The official conversion guide explains adapting fifth-edition adventures and resolving challenges through prime or secondary attributes. Historical books and documents contain OGL notices, while trademarks and setting material remain subject to their own distinct conditions of use.
02
At the table
The game master assigns difficulty to an attribute check. Its threshold changes for prime or secondary attributes, providing a common framework for resolving different challenges.

Independent sales
Troll Lord Games' historical guide offers compatible supplement publishers an OGL route for certain printings. That programme does not make all of SIEGE Engine open content or guarantee that current printings have the same conditions.
Conditions
The guide identifies Players Handbook, seventh printing from 2017, and Monsters & Treasure, fifth printing from 2019. Consult their OGL notices and the compatibility, approval, registration and trademark conditions before publication. Do not apply this route to current printings without OGL.
