What is it about?
Forged in the Dark identifies games built from the Blades in the Dark rules reference. The SRD supplies mechanics for original creations, while Duskwall, its characters, maps, and artwork remain outside that grant. The associated logo has its own attribution requirements for participating game creators.

At the table
Players describe actions and face risks and consequences through the SRD’s system. Each derivative game adapts its protagonists, activities, and setting to its chosen focus.

The Forged in the Dark SRD permits creation and sale of original adventures or games under CC BY 3.0 with attribution. It requires neither prior review nor an exclusive channel.
Conditions
Material must be original and derived from the SRD. The guide excludes Duskwall/Shattered Isles, characters, maps and artwork from the book; do not use Blades in the Dark as a title or its official logos. The Forged in the Dark logo has separate attribution.
