What is it about?
GUMSHOE provides tools for building investigation-centred adventures across different genres and settings. Pelgrane publishes a reusable reference separately from its commercial games. The Creative Commons version has its own attribution wording; trademarks, settings, and logos belonging to individual game lines are not automatically included.

At the table
Investigators follow clues, connect information, and apply their abilities to obstacles. The GM organizes the mystery and the situations that develop as the investigation proceeds.

The GUMSHOE SRD under CC BY 3.0 permits creation and sale of original adventures or games with attribution. No particular community programme is required.
Conditions
Permission is limited to SRD material, not each GUMSHOE game's settings, artwork or trademarks. Respect the document's notice and separate compatibility/logo terms; do not infer permission for Trail of Cthulhu or other IP.
