What is it about?
OpenQuest presents fantasy adventures with characters defined through their skills. Its reference document collects the mechanics, magic systems and creatures that D101 Games makes available for reuse. It provides an introduction to percentile gaming and a foundation for designing other games and supplements.

At the table
Characters use percentile skills to overcome dangers. Combat, magic and creatures share a framework intended to resolve character actions throughout a fantasy adventure.

Independent sales
D101 permits creation and sale of adventures and other derivatives of the OpenQuest SRD under CC BY 4.0 with attribution. The licence permits independent module distribution and a choice of licence for original contributions.
Conditions
Use only SRD text, not rulebook or supplement text; do not refer to rulebook page numbers. The policy excludes the ordinary OpenQuest trademark and logo and provides Made with OpenQuest to indicate origin. Settings such as Empire of Gatan require separate permission.
