What is it about?

Fred Hicks and Robert Donoghue’s version 2.0 PDF was released on August 18, 2003 and has 90 pages. A separate March 31, 2005 RTF SRD declares its text Open Game Content. Both are linked from the working second-edition archive.

02

At the table

Roll four Fudge dice, add the skill’s ladder value and meet or exceed a difficulty. Phases build aspects and skills; aspects, Fate Points and extras connect a character’s history to action and fiction.

Source checked ·

The 2005 SRD permits commercial derivatives under OGL 1.0a; that is separate from the 2003 PDF notice.

Conditions

Use the SRD’s designated open text with the complete OGL, explicit open-content identification and applicable Section 15 notices for Wizards, Fudge and Fate, adding your own required entry. The original PDF retains its historical Fudge notice; its cover, clip art, logos and other third-party assets are not opened by the SRD. Branded compatibility needs separate rights. Later Fate Core CC terms are not substituted.
